Details and operation

WHAT IS IT?

Montsant Inside is a self-guided route, open to everyone. A Pas d’Isard takes charge of booking accommodation and provide all the required information and other necessary services for a safe, comfortable trek.

WHEN TO GO?

The route is practicable all year round, but in the summer months temperatures tend to be high. It’s a trek best enjoyed at any other time of the year.

ACCOMMODATION

The accommodations along the route are mountain refuges and the hostelry of a hermitage. You can also choose hotels in the “comfort” option instead of the “basic” option.

WELCOME PACK

Ten days before the departure date, the welcome packs will be sent to the address of the group leader, containing:

  • Map from Piolet Editions 1:20.000
  • Detailed digital road-book
  • A “Montsant Inside” exclusive Tuga Wear technical t-shirt.
  • Exclusive buff Montsant Endins
  • Pass card to be stamped at the accommodation
  • GPS track
  • Other small complimentary gifts.
ROUTE SIGNAGE

The crossing has partial markings on the ground. In the summary of each stage we provide a detailed overview of the existing signage, both types and colours, which vary at certain points.

I DON'T HAVE 3 DAYS CAN THE JOURNEY BE SHORTENED?

The journey consists of a 3 stages circle, which is considered the minimum essential to get to know some of the best corners of this mountain range. If it is shortened, the journey will already be somehow incomplete.

I HAVE MANY DAYS TO WALK. CAN WE EXTEND IT?

The 3-stage circle can be extended with some more stage. Write us and let’s talk about the different possibilities.
